Interested members of Newcomers of Catawba Valley meet once a month to play a version of Canasta known as Samba.
The daytime group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch. Card play begins at 12:00 p.m.
The evening group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 for dinner. Card play begins at 6:00 p.m.
